On May 23, 1921, in Hoboken, New Jersey, President Warren Harding welcomed home over 5,100 American fallen, brought back from Cherbourg, France and Antwerp, Belgium aboard the USAT Wheaton. » Learn more.
Join us as we pay tribute to these men and women, and all of the 44,000 Americans brought back from Europe after World War I with a special event at the site of that original homecoming ceremony, 100 years ago.

Pier A Park is across the street from 110 Sinatra Drive, Hoboken, NJ. There are several affordable parking garages in the immediate vicinity, including: https://www.gmcparking.com/locations-rates/hoboken-nj/
There is limited ferry service between Brookfield Place (Battery Park City) in Manhattan and Hoboken/NJ Terminal on Sundays. The 10:20AM ferry arrives in Hoboken at approximately 10:30; the 10:50 ferry arrives at 11:00 (you will likely be late for start of the ceremony). The weekend fare each way is $6.
